Our Wines
Mâcon-Bussières Blanc (Domaine du vieux Puits)
2.20 hectares (about 5.1 acres) on clay-limestone soil.
Exposure Northwest.
Age of the Vine 35 years.
Winemaking Slow gentle pressing, débourbage 12 to 18 hours in vats, then descend by gravity into the barrels for the fermentation phases.
Aging 10 months in 500-liters oak barrels, 25% in new casks.
Maturing on fine fermentation lees and regular bâtonnage.
Bottled in May.
Total production: 15,000 bottles/year.
Wine tasting This Wine presents rich and greedy aromas of vanilla, pear, pineapple and mandarin as well as white flowers. The palate expression is elegant and pure with a touch of citrus fruits for the finish, all the charm of a great Mâcon. Tasting temperature between 12 to 14C °.
