50 ares on clay-limestone soil with a dominant of clay.
Age of the Vine 25 years.
Winemaking Slow gentle pressing, débourbage 12 to 18 hours in vats, then descend by gravity into the barrels for the fermentation phases.
Location altitude 345m (1130 feet). Eastern hillside.
Aging 10 months in oak barrels, 25% in new casks.
Maturing on fine fermentation lees and regular bâtonnage.
Bottled in May.
Total production: 5000 bottles/year.
Wine tasting The aromas and the flavors reveal the fruits (pineapple, exotic fruits) white flowers (lily, locust tree) and the minerality (chalk). On this terroir the fruit gives up the finish to the minerality. The final is powerful and well-balanced. We can say this is a noble Mâcon. This Wine will know how to express itself with distinction in any occasion. Tasting temperature between 12 to 14C °.
