1 hectare (about 2.5 acres) in calcareous soil, predominantly marl.
Northern exposure, on the hillside below the Roche de Solutré.
Output: 58 hl/ha (about 621 US gallons/acre)
Average age of parcels is 35 years.
Maturing: 10 months in barrels, of which 25% are new.
Bottled in August.
Current production is about 4000 bottles/year.
Wine tasting: Wine with predominantly mineral notes. Freshness and finesse await. Good length, rich and ample.
